only works less then 2 yrs. 2nd one the same as the first. it stops cooling. defective parts. will have to get another fridge. not samsung!!

this may be one of the worst experiences ive had with a refrigerator. my apartment complex has these and they look amazing. but this thing only alerts you if it is wide open for too long. it does not alert you when you may not have closed the fridge all the way slightly. because the fridge door kind of bounces back open when you close it, sometimes the door does bot shut all the way. i can not tell you how kucb food i have lost because i thought this thing was closed and it was not. this needs better sensors. and tthen it takes forever to get cold. not okay

i have had this fridge for 4 month, yes 4 months!!!!!! the freezer stopped cooling had food get damaged right before christmas. they couldnt make it out for almost a week. called to get it serviced they came in looked at it. i mean just looked at it and said it needed new mother board or something. i didn't think he even tried to see the issue but said it was a common issue i took his word for it of course he doesn't have the part for such a common issue and had to reschedule it once again for another week out. now i am 2 weeks with out a freezer. they come back put the part in and said wait 24 hours for it to begin freezing. well 24hrs later and it isn't freezing. both the product and service have been horrible. now i have to schedule again before new years.

i hate this fridge. design is horrible. drawer on the top is awkward. shelves are too narrow to reach anything in the back without getting on your knees to be eye level. wish i could add more to this.

there is no way to remove the glass from the plastic shelf frame to clean any blood or spills that seeps between the glass and frame, unhealthy dangerous design.

only the doors are made of the black fingerprint resistant coating which is quite different in color and texture than flat black; so you end up with 2 finishes which makes it look peculiar.

Our new Model RT18M6213SR/AA, SN: 0F354DBJ201734R, arrived 7/26/2017. By 7/29/2017, I contacted Samsung because of temperature issue. They said to set both freezer and frig to three (3) bars, it would correct the problem. Freezer seems to have fairly good cooling, however inconsistent temp problem occurred the fourth day upon waking up in AM with variation of +10-degrees. The refrigerator section is where the problem continues. Won't get any colder than 44-48-degrees Fahrenheit, no matter how the settings of the bars are set. I've contacted our appliance store, S & S TV and Appliances - Norwich, NY, Sales & Service, 80 East Main Street, Norwich, NY 13815, Phone (607) 334-6466, Service Phone (607) 334-6466 & (607) 336-6466, I don't blame them, the appliance failed. This took 2-weeks to get and so now I've got a struggling frig. If I had my old one, at least it would have likely been working, compressor would make a loud "cloun-clunk" when it turned off. An initial Samsung service contact takes more than 2-days, then you may have to wait longer depending on where they are located compared to your location. Art - Oneonta, NY.
