Beautiful Looking SUBPAR Washing Machine

Ive had the LG WashTower for about a month now and love the look and compact size of the machine. Unfortunately I am VERY VERY disappointed in its washing capabilities. It simply does not get my clothes clean. Ive run a few test washes where I will lightly soil a light towel or old shirt and I mean lightly soil with a spot of juice and even after pretreating washing on HEAVY SOIL setting with 2 Extra Rinses the spot is still very much there. The clothes dont even smell clean. I assumed maybe there was a problem with the installation so had an LG tech come out and run some tests. The tech confirmed the machine is working as it should be. If you want an aesthetically pleasing washer dryer combo appliance this fits the bill. If you want a decent washing machine that actually washes your clothes. Id go in a different direction.

Completely lousy. Super noisy. I replaced a 17 year old unit with this mistake way louder. It is so squeaky i can hear it running from every room in my house from day one.

Beautiful laundry tower has given my laundry room a colorful twist. Takes the same amount of floor space as a single machine and the controls are in the center so very easy to access. Happy with their full capacity and excellent laundry results. Would definitely recommend.

I wish I had more positive things to say about this I looked at so many reviews before purchasing and I feel like there are some issues with this machine that arent conveyed in many other reviews so wanted to share this warning with others. - the cycle options are quite limited - if you want different ones you have to download an app which is annoying. it also was quite difficult to actually connect the app to the machine and im a tech savvy person. also the app cant actually start the cycle so you have to turn it ON on the unit go to your phone and select a cycle then go back to the unit to actually start the cycle. super poor user experience in my opinion... why cant i just select all of cycles on the machine itself? - hand wash / delicate cycle is nottttt gentle. i had an item that i washed in my previous LGwasher on the delicate cycle with no issues but when i put it through this machine it came out all chewed up. veryyyyy dissapointing and considering an older lg model didnt have the same issue feels inexcusable. -dryer DOES NOT WORK WELL this is probably the toughest. the dryer sensors are all janky and dont accurately tell when clothes are dry so every single cycle comes out still wet. i spend countless hours with LG support and had technicians come out multiple times.... all for them to tell me that the dryer doesnt work well because i live in an apartment? that seems like a glaring issue i even heard them on the phone saying many customers complain about this they claim that the venting is too long so unless your setup vents directly to the outside and doesnt follow any internal routes youre basically SOL. super frustrating because my previous LG dryer which was 15 years old in the same apartment never had this problem. also it seems crazy that a washtower unit which feels made for apartments due to its slim and stacked nature does not dry appropriately in apartments at all? honestly im pretty bummed that this new fancy washer has so many issues when my previous washer dryer from LG which was 15 years old didnt have any of these issues. its like they tried to be fancy and say hollow BS like ai and just ended up making the product worse.

I Luv my LG. It was the best decision I ever made. It takes care of delicate fabric and you have to worry about shrinkage. Also it hooks up to the WiFi and tell you when its done

Terrible Customer Service for a Brand Name Company

The unit looks good but customer service/order fulfillment software has been so poor it left me no choice but to get their attention through a review. Its the worst Ive seen of a brand-name company. 1. Terrible policy that takes up customer and company time: The price decreased by $100 before my unit is shipped and customer service refused to price-match. The customer service agent instructed me to cancel the order and pay for it again through a second order immediately without informing me how to keep the original delivery date. The second order had a way-too-late delivery date 3 weeks after the original but I was under the assumption that the agent can help me change the delivery date back to my original date. Because he cant I am stranded with a broken laundry machine at home for 45 days between original order date and eventual delivery date. 2. Terrible instructions from customer service agent: Once my original order was cancelled successfully a couple hours after the second order was made the original delivery date became available again for order online. I tried to use the websites reschedule delivery function to reattain this much earlier date but its incapable of allowing me to reschedule even though the slot is obviously available. If the agent instructed me to wait for processing of the cancellation of the first order to complete before initiating the second order this wouldnt even have been an issue. Now Ive spent several hours trying to fix this issue thats a lot more costly than the original $100 price difference. 3. Ignoring customers emails at the very least they should give an answer of No: Not being able to wait until my new delivery date I called customer service. Customer service agents certainly have a hard job so they were only able to reiterate to me they dont have the capability to change the delivery date to the original one either. They could only suggest me to email the orders department who should answer in 24 hours. Instead of at least answering me the worst they can do is they cant change the delivery date unfortunately the orders department instead just left the email on read. So I waited days wondering if theyre just researching my question or if I need to follow up with someone else. Ive never seen such before from any customer service of a brand name company. 4. Terrible payment processing: Not wanting to lose the original delivery date I went ahead and attempted to make a 3rd order and planned cancel the 2nd order after the 3rd becomes successful a few hours after my first call. Crazily it successfully charged my credit card but gave a feedback of saying the order did not process successfully. Re-attempts at making this order including using my wifes name was also unsuccessful though it didnt charged my card a 4th time luckily. I will likely have to dispute this phantom charge for a 3rd order. Of course since the 3rd order was not successful that original delivery slot was eventually taken by someone else later the next day. 5. Another example of ignoring customers requests: On a second call to customer service I requested a call-back from customer service agents supervisor who they said will call within 48 hours. Just like the agents reading through my email questions the supervisor seems to be able to ignore the requests for a call back too.
