Problem with craft ice maker

The only problem we have with our LG is the craft ice maker.Last weekLG replaced it for the third time.ITstops making ice and it sounds like someone is in there pounding with a hammer.It is a problem but LG service has come out and replaced it within a few days and all three of the service men were veery nice.Aside from thatWE really like our LG.

Great size but cant use the ice

I love the ability to fit everything. The doors werent adjusted when installed and they also scratched it during installation. They failed to hook up the water since they eere in a hurry. The water tastes a bit strange but the icemaker has a bad plastic taste to the ice. I have dumped it out several times. Also got Styrofoam in the ice floating g on top of the drink. I read reviews and thought they fixed all these problems on the 2023 model 3016d but obviously not. I would return it if I could.

We have had it over a year and love all the features. I would highly recommend this style of refrigerator. My husband loves the Craft Ice feature. The only problem we have experienced is the Craft Ice stopped making and the way to solve it was to press a button on the icemaker. The Veggie and Fruit bins keep items fresh for a long time. We shopped for a while and this is what we decided on. Absolutely LOVE it. We made the best decision

Loads of room.

This is a great fridge. Freezer drawers 3 of them make it easy to find and access food. Door in door is convenient as well. Love the Baller ice maker. Tope door ice maker is great. The only problem I have is finding stuff. The fridge is SO deep things get lost in the back. And difficult to get to. I have to pull items out to even see whats back there.

Love the door in door feature keeps food fresher

Overall we really love this fridge. It keeps produce fresh much longer than any previous fridge. We really love the door in door feature and lots of storage on the doors for small bottles for easy access. We are also happy with the wide drawers at the bottom of the fridge for wide boxes such as pizza and in the top of the freezer for things like chilling a cake and freezing bread and rolls etc. We also like that we chose a fridge that offers 3 kinds of ice. Ours has cubed crushed and craft round ice for cocktails. When the craft ice works it is awesome. Problem is that we have had trouble with that one feature since we first got the fridge. They came and fixed it once and it worked great for a few months and is now not working again. We have contacted Costco where we bought it and they have supposedly sent someone to repair it but so far nobody has showed up. That is one feature we would love to have again as we love that kind of slow melting ice in our cocktails. Otherwise we do truly love this fridge for so many reasons.

Save Money Save Time Save Frustration

Im in LOVE I never realized how much difference the right refrigerator would make in my kitchen experiences. No more frustration not having the room hating a shopping trip because I had no idea where I was going to put all this fresh food. I save time not having to dig through the fridge to find the ingredients or leftovers and room to organize everything conveniently. And I can honestly say I save money. No wilted veggies no lost ingredients it seems things stay fresher longer than ever before. And I thought I didnt NEED the door in a door but I love it so glad I bought this model. Of course everyone loves those craft ice balls. Drinks dont get watered down. After having a side-by-side for years I was very afraid of a chest like freezer. Oh my I love the drawer layout. Its just perfect for small things that can get lost in the freezer yet roomy enough for a large grocery haul. Trying hard to think of any cons to share. The only thing I can think of is the front of the fridge does not allow you to post your grandchildrens artwork with a magnet. Easy fix I bought some stick-on clips and now my gallery is back in place. You wont regret buying this amazing refrigerator.

Bad feature- craft ice

Do not purchase a unit with a craft ice maker

Good refrigerator. Ive tried 3 craft ice makers and replacements and I have now given up. Im just stuck with a unit that doesnt work on making craft ice actually leaks everytime as well so I am just using the door ice maker. I like the fridge but am very disappointed with paying up for craft ice and not being able to use it.

I love the space in this fridge. The only thing that I dont love is the shelves are not adjustable. Since the door shelves are so narrow that would have been a huge help.

Awesome fridge

We needed a refrigerator for our garage. Our son found this one for us but we have never owned LG before. We decided to take a chance on it so glad we did. The features are awesome It even makes those round craft ice that get deposited into the freezer and a regular ice maker/water dispenser on the door. When we received it the handle to the freezer had a little dent in it and LG came right to our home to replace it. It keeps things at perfect temperature. You wont be disappointed with this fridge.

Great Fridge

Got one of the biggest units they had to offer and it has been going for 6 years. These things are backed by a 10 year warranty which is huge for homeowners. I am a fan of the energy efficiency since I live in Arizona where electricity is expensive.

Disappointing

This is our second one in 4 years our first one the condenser fan went out and it couldnt be fixed after 3 months of waiting for a new one the same thing has now happened and it is only 7 months old. Been going back and forth for a couple of weeks with customer service and still no resolution. Love the fridge itself hate the problems.
