This dryer is wonderful! It's very quiet, user friendly and has wonderful features. I am loving the steam refresh! It has saved me many times with last minute rescue of clothes. The wrinkle prevention is great for cutting my ironing to a minimum. I have not experienced over drying or shrinking of clothes as in my past machines have sadly put me through. I love the performance and large capacity.

Second bran new dryer

We built a new house and bought Maytag washer and dryer. The first dryer never worked. We had to have three service calls before Maytag would do anything. we now have a second dryer that the coil burned out the first day. We have had a first service call today. It's so sad to buy expensive beautiful dryer and have them not function. Also the lady at Maytag was very curt and not willing to help until I asked for Escalation dept.

Noisy Dryer

Purchased this from Best Buy in February 2019. Making a squeaking noise by April. Called and scheduled a service appointment. Same guy has been out 5 times, and was going to come a 6th time. Replaced all kind of parts. Called cust service and they agreed to get me set up with a new dryer. Finally we are getting somewhere. So I should have received a call in 2-3 days. A week goes by so I call. The cust service rep tells me they called twice. If they called they did not leave a message. Why not an email? or text? So she transfers me to the dept that handles that. After holding 10 minutes a message comes on telling me 26 minute wait time. Hey Maytag, I have spent enough time on your problem dryer! Please get me a replacement dryer! Maytag ref# 7725579837.

Looks great, works great, shockingly quiet

Our old dryer that came with the house (from some unremembered, lesser brand) kicked the bucket, so we decided it was time to upgrade our clunky set of low-tier hand-me-downs to a nice pair of top-of-the-line performance machines. I have been amazed out how well these work, how nice they look, and how quietly they get the job done. I actually want visitors to our home to visit our basement and witness these beautiful pillars of clothing cleanliness in action. It looks great and does a good job drying however it is noisy! Repair personnel have been out 3 times to correct the annoying grinding noise and it hums along quietly for a few days but then the loud high pitch chirping starts. Sometime pushing on the dryer door while in operation or jolting it helps, but the noise soon returns. Repair technicians have taken the whole drum apart , but still the noise returns. One repair person said they have had multiple calls concerning the grinding noise issue with this model.

Plenty of features

bought this a few weeks ago and i enjoy doing laundry again. So much room for my 3 kids clothes. Gets things dry in a jiffy. Quiet. Only odd complaint is that when i reach for something on the shelf above i accidentally turn the dryer on because i lean against it.

MY LAST MAYTAG EVER

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED 4/18/2019

Purchased to match new washing machine and to replace15 year old Whirlpool dryer that is working fine. Sensor system didn't function and drying times of over 1.5 hours were excessive so Maytag replaced the dryer with a second new one. Second dryer has same numerous issues. Sometimes sensor light flashes but always goes blank, cool down rarely shows, wet and damp lights have never lit, sometimes timer shows 1 minute and never shuts off until the door is open, This poorly functioning dryer has too many constant and sporadic frustrating issues to mention here. Three service appointments and four replacement parts have not corrected the issues. I would never recommend a purchase of this model.

Ergonomical

Bought this drier a month ago. What I honestly love about it how ergonomic it is to use. Enough features and cycles to carry out its jobs without me having to scrabble every time I need to use it. Well build drier by an American Manufacturer. Rebates offered by Maytag also helped in dropping the price.

Love this dryer

I love the cycles that are available to choose from. The time displayed isn't the normal length of time it takes to dry the clothes, most cycles finish sooner. Love all the adjustability options in the drying cycles.

GARBAGE! Less than 1 month old and has problems

DO NOT BUY! I purchased this dryer and matching washer from Best Buy and bought the extended warranty/extra coverage plan. It was delivered and installed by Best Buy. The first dryer was making a grinding and chirping sound within 1 day, so Best Buy replaced with another new unit. This one leaves a puddle of water on the inside of the door after dry cycle, and doesn't dry the clothes completely. I called Best Buy, they told me it's Maytag's problem, I called Maytag, and they told me (I have it on recording), that "water left over in the dryer is normal, but I can pay $110 for a service tech to come out to investigate." The dryer is only 2 weeks old. Also, the door doesn't seal all the way, so it rattles loudly when drying. If you have a laundry room upstairs, this would certainly keep everyone up at night. Based on the response from Maytag, I wouldn't even buy a product from them. Had I known their quality and customer service was this bad, I would have never made this purchase.

DELIVERED BROKEN

Installed along with new washer. After trying to run dryer it had error code. Parts were needed. Took a week. Maytag sent part that didn't work. Ended up getting new one. Took 2 weeks. Awful experience. Only have new one few days.

Laundry Daze 2/26/2019

I bought this less than 2 weeks ago and have not been able to use it longer than 3 mins without an error code. Very disappointed at this time. I'll have to wait until a serviceman comes to find out what the problem is. I don't like the fact that I'm starting out this way I had such high expectations for MAYTAG.
